Innovative Splashbacks are acrylic (polymer) splashbacks and wall panels that are either rear painted in any colour or rear printed with any image, graphic or pattern.

Our acrylic splashbacks look identical to glass splashbacks and are 6mm thick.

Innovative Splashbacks are typically used as kitchen, laundry, shower and bath splashbacks and decorative wall panels and provide a modern, stylish and seamless grout-free finish.

Yes.  Our acrylic splashbacks and wall panels are cut to your exact size and shape requirements.  We can also do power point cutouts, tap holes, shape cuts, out of square cuts - providing a 100% ready to install polymer splashback the moment you receive it.

We can also supply Innovative Splashbacks in full panel sizes and they can be cut down and trimmed on site with normal woodworking tools.  Bear in mind this option of purchasing full sheets usually costs you  a lot more as you typically have to purchase more acrylic splashback than you actually need.  Plus time taken to cut down the panels yourself - or by your installer - also costs you more in both times and money.  Not forgetting extra wastage also generated by using this option.

Yes.  The tiles need to be clean, dry, dust free and secured to the wall substrate - not falling off or loose.

High gloss tiles may require sanding and clearing of dust prior to installing Innovative Splashbacks directly over them.

They perfect splashbacks for kitchens, shower walls, bathroom walls, bath and spa surrounds, vanities, laundry, outdoor kitchen and alfresco areas as well as splashbacks and wall panels for office, retail and commercial applications.

Yes we can colourmatch to any colour you like - from paint brand colours, Pantone colours to matching swatches including cabinetry, benchtops, tiles - anything! 

We can also match metallic and pearlescent colours.

Or you can choose a colour from our designer colour range.

Yes provided the resolution is high enough.

We check all images and advise whether they are high enough quality to print to your splashback panel sizes.

You can supply your own image OR choose an image from an image library OR choose an image from our Signature Image range OR work with our graphics designer and photographer to create an image of your own.  Your image choice is limited only by your imagination.

Yes with normal wood working tools. 

Jigsaw with fine tooth blade or circular saw fitted with blade suitable for cutting acrylic or aluminium.

A good quality clear neutral cure silicone such as Bostik V60 neutral cure silicone.

The same neutral cure silicone used for glass splashbacks can be used. 

Yes. Innovative Splashbacks have 25x the impact strength, yet half the weight of glass. This makes Innovative Splashbacks far more cost effective to ship, handle and install compared to glass.

Unlike other splashback products on the market, Innovative Splashbacks are supplied cut to size and shape - so you only pay for what you need - and also saves you money on installation costs. 

Being cut to size also reduces installation time and with the flexibility to trim, cut and drill into the panels on site allows for more project control, compared to glass splashbacks which cannot be cut and trimmed at all.

Innovative Splashbacks install 4 x quicker than tiles.

Reduced lead times - our custom acrylic splashbacks can supplied cut to size and shape and in a custom colour in as little as 3 working days.

No. However it can effectively be top or side lit.

Innovative Splashbacks are 6mm thick.

We can supply our acrylic splashbacks at other thicknesses - get in touch with us if require a different thickness for your splashbacks.

No.  You dont have to be a glazier or have any special trade specialist skills to install our acrylic splashbacks.

Our acrylic splashbacks are lightweight and durable and can be trimmed and drilled on site with normal woodworking tools. 

They are installed using standard skills and further information can be found on our Technical page.

Yes for electric and induction cooktops provided distance requirements are met.  A minimum distance of 50mm clearance between the back edge of the electric/induction cooktop and the face of the splashback must be met.

If the required distance is not met, we can supply custom size stainless steel panels for behind the cooktop.

We do not recommend installing Innovative Splashbacks behind gas cooktops.  We can supply stainless steel panels for the area behind the gas gooktop.

Yes.  Innovative Splashbacks are non porous and perfect to use as shower splashbacks, on bath surrounds, bathrooms walls, vanity splashbacks - virtually any vertical surface in your home and business.

Innovative Splashbacks are easy to clean using warm soapy water and a soft cloth or chamois.  A wipe over and rinse is all it takes to keep your Innovative Splashbacks looking fantastic. Chemicals are not required.

Our acrylic splashbacks surface will not grow mould and repels soap scum meaning you will be cleaning your shower splashbacks much less!

Do not use abrasive cleaning materials or dry rub the splashback panels.

Yes Innovative Splashbacks have a 10 year limited warranty from the date of sale and is subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions contained in the entire warranty document.

Yes like any material - if you want to scratch it you can. However unlike glass splashbacks, any scratches can be polished out.

While Innovative Splashbacks have a 10 year warranty, they are not recommended for exterior applications in which they are directly exposed to the weather. They are suitable for outdoor covered areas such as undercover patios, barbeque areas and so on.
